Welcome to the blog! We would love to have your information (goals, accomplishments, etc) on the left so we see where are from and where you are going. You seem to be doing mostly crosstraining, but your time on the treadmill shows a fast running pace, good job!

You are logging some great miles on the treadmill and the other stuff that you are doing! How do you do it? Do you run outside when the weather is good? Nice effort and welcome to the blog!

From Susan on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 15:59:44

Thanks for your kind words. I usually hit the gym around 5:00 am so I can be done by the time the kids get up and going. I find I am a much happier mom and wife if I get my "me" time in!

I usually don't run outside in the winter--too cold and too much work to get ready! :)

From josse on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 20:44:06

Welcome to the blog, and I think the elementary school 5k count for something.

From MichelleL on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 21:32:48

Of course the elementary school's 5k counts (so long you ran it)!~

From sarah on Fri, Feb 08, 2008 at 23:22:06

I am also very impressed with your endurance...you look like superwoman to me. I am much happier if my me time doesn't include too much excercise...I like to run but try and read or sew or be lazy...you are awesome.

We also have 5 kids..and are in our 12th year of marriage.

Hey Susan,

A little more info would help us comment on your blog a little better. Maybe you are just using this for logging purposes only and not the celebration and encouragement factor! Anyway, you always have some awesome workouts!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Total Distance

I set out today to push myself a bit on speed.  Ran a total of 10 miles in 1:08:33--definitely a PR for me.  First 5k in 21:42; 10k in 43:40.

Biked for 25 minutes so I could get my BOM reading in.

Wow impressive time on the 10 miler! It doesn't look like you've raced much but with this kind of speed you're really in the top echelon of women runners. You ought to get out and run a few races, I think you would do very well, perhaps even win a few local 5K/10K races.

You really keep on cranking out those miles! And you are such a speadster! You ought to seriously consider signing up for

Wow, you are doing a lot of aerobic exercise! Do you have a race planned soon? You could womp all over some of the local 5Ks I've run. I was looking at your run yesterday. You are a fast chica! Hope you run a race soon so we can see what you are capable of.

Hey susan- thanks for posting a comment. I would have never seen your blog :) Wow- you are a cross training fool! How do you get it all in? That is amazing!

Good to meet you and have a new friend on the blog! ;)

Okay, I'm not a stalker. I just stumbled across your blog and decided to remind you about your good intentions when you started a year ago. I had a spotty year because of injuries, so I know what you might be dealing with. If you want to get back on that horse, I'll respond to your blog with encouragement (if I can find it again). Good luck!
